Super Bowl LIX is set for kickoff this Sunday, February 9th. Whether you’re interested in the game or the halftime show, (or the commercials, no judgment!) a few of the most influential celebrities from this past year will be featured.

The Super Bowl is always an extremely relevant event. But this year’s is exceptionally so. From Travis Kelce on the field and Taylor Swift in the stands, to Kendrick Lamar and SZA on the stage at halftime; this Super Bowl is different.
Why? Perhaps it’s because the halftime show features artists still in their prime, if not at their peak. No offense to Usher, but it’s not 2004 anymore…
Kendrick being offered the halftime show only makes us wonder: does this mean he won in the Drake and Kendrick beef? *for the record, we’re team Champagne Papi over here at Tric Agency*
Furthermore… would he have even had the chance to perform the halftime show without this beef between the two, catapulting him back to the forefront of the rap charts? Either way, both Kendrick Lamar and SZA have had knockout years, with new albums AND new Grammy’s to add to their list of accolades.
SZA has been popping up everywhere; from a feature on Mac Miller’s posthumous album ‘Balloonerism,’ to sharing a few new songs with Kendrick on both of their albums respectively.
Adding a Super Bowl halftime show to their resume with everything else they have going on just seems… right.

In other news, the internet’s most popular couple will be at the centerfold of Super Bowl attention (again). As we know, Taylor had her two-year long Eras tour moment. In the midst of that, Travis also had his moment of winning his third Super Bowl.
With the Eras tour officially over, it’s time for Travis to have his moment, yet again! Kelce is back in the championship, for the third time in a row, facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles, once again. However, a lot of buzz has been surrounding him, and it has nothing to do with the Super Bowl.
What will T.Swift be wearing to the game? Will Kelce have any new accessories by the end of the night? Over or under they show Taylor in her box at least 10x before halftime?
Reporters during media week have been asking him questions about if he knows when Reputation TV is coming out, if he’s proposing to Taylor if he wins, and who Taylor’s Philadelphia family is rooting for.
The peeps over at the Tric Agency are split. There are quite a few of us who are huge sports fans and will be watching for the game itself. But, we are marketers, so of course we’re also watching for the commercials. But, there are a handful of us who are HUGE Taylor Swift fans and will also be watching to see her and Travis.
